Samantha discovered yoga at The Yoga Centre, right here in Burlington in 2002. Amazed at how the practice alleviated the stresses of finding herself as a young teenager, she knew she wanted to teach yoga to others one day. Shortly after having her daughter, Samantha began practicing here at Moksha Burlington, late 2009. All of her teachers who helped to shape her hot practice still teach here today, or are close in the community: Joy, William, Thommy, Brock, Sarah B, Sarah M, just to name a few. Sam completed the 500 hr Moksha Level 1 Training in Victoria, B.C June 2012 and the 250 hr Moksha Flow Training in Kelowna, B.C April 2013. After establishing a base in personal training, with additional certifications with Agatsu Kettlebells and TRX Suspension Training, career waitressing and being a mom, she decided to further her career in the healthcare industry and is currently attending the McMaster-Mohawk Bachelor of Science in Nursing program Hamilton, ON. Set to graduate McMaster in 2018 you can find Sam H on the schedule here in Burlington, as well as on her mat taking class. Don’t forget to join her as she leads students through a vigorous, delicious and soul-searching Moksha sequence.
